Pilat Traverse

About This Route

Pilat Traverse links Lyon with Annonay across the forested hills, ridgelines and winding roads of the Pilat region, on the edge of the northern Ardèche. Instead of the busy Rhône corridor, the Line follows quiet backroads with wide panoramas, wooded valleys and small villages. Short and sharp in both directions, it keeps the strongest part of the old Lyon–Valence connection and makes Annonay a natural intermediate Hub.
