A southbound Line from Montélimar to Avignon through the Drôme Provençale and northern Provence.
Provençal Crossing leaves Montélimar and dives into the Drôme Provençale on quiet secondary roads between vineyards, lavender country, rolling hills and historic villages. The further south the Line goes, the more the scents, light and landscapes turn unmistakably Provençal, until it reaches Avignon where the Rhône meets the Durance. It is the second half of the former Valence–Avignon crossing and carries the Eurouta network on towards the Mediterranean.
